Chambroad has invested over 20 billion yuan to integrated green chemical and high performance materials project. It encompasses the production of bromobutyl rubber, high performance PP resin, propylene produced by K-COT process, high performance modified emulsifiers, POE, and styrene produced by comprehensive utilization of dry gas. Supported by either world-leading process or innovation by Chambroad itself, the company aims to transform and upgrade the its business structure, fostering synergy among refining, chemicals and high performance materials.
Chambroad has pioneered the N1N model to bridge collaboration and facilitate joint research between universities and enterprise. The company has developed high-end polyolefin products jointly with Zhejiang University, Tianjin University, Sichuan University, Dalian University of Technology, and East China University of Science and Technology. Additionally, in partnership with Academician Zhang Liqun's research team and Professor Li Bogeng's team from Zhejiang University, Chambroad has successfully produced the world's first batch of bio-based itaconate rubber and developed POE.
