With the acceleration of global industrial advancement toward higher quality and greener practices, there is a noticeable imbalance characterized by an excess of low-end products and a shortage of high-end products in the international market. This is especially the case concerning the supply and demand of materials like polypropylene(PP)and synthetic rubber.
Anchored in the real economy, Chambroad focuses on the development of advanced production processes and green technologies for the high-end development of new materials. Currently, the company delivers systematic solutions to high performance PP, specialty synthetic rubber, and polyolefin elastomers (POE), meeting diverse needs of global customers.
Supported by internationally advanced processes from LyondellBasell, Chambroad has produced various grades of PP, covering multiple application fields and offering customers comprehensive solutions from raw materials to processing applications. In the food industry, Chambroad has developed proprietary food-grade PP additives, enabling stable production at low temperatures with reduced energy consumption. As for consumer product packaging, the company's ultra-transparent materials with an iterative upgrade in transparency, meet the sensory demands of high-end customers, thus providing diverse options for cosmetic packaging. In building materials, Chambroad's PP random pipe material, PA14D, utilizes an innovative additive formula to tackle brittleness in low-temperature and the construction challenge in winter. At the same time, the pipe materials provide the end users with a diversified solution of "polybutylene + PP" pipe system suitable for various hot and cold water pipes. While continuously enhancing product performance, Chambroad also focuses on green development. The company has developed green polyolefin foaming technology independently, contributing to the lightweight plastics and the optimization of supply-demand structure of domestic high-end PP.
Chambroad boasts two sets of leading international production processes, capable of producing a full range of butyl rubber products in multiple grades and offering customers fast and efficient sealing solutions. The company innovates the application of bio-mass materials, producing bio-based itaconate rubber through low temperature emulsion polymerization technology. It is the world’s first bio-based synthetic rubber, with a bio-based carbon content ranging from 20% to 100%. Additionally, Chambroad has established the world's first 5,000-ton demonstration production line for bio-based itaconate rubber, supporting the green and low-carbon development in applications such as tires, shoe materials, conveyor belts, and protective gloves. The company has also developed an independent hydrogenation process for nitrile rubber emulsion that uses lower amounts of catalysts and is free of added organic solvents. In this way, it is able to provide oil-resistant, heat-resistant, and chemically resistant specialty rubber materials for high-end equipment sectors, including oil fields, automotive, and lithium batteries.
Chambroad is contributing to photovoltaics and new energy vehicles industries by accelerating the innovation and domestication of POE. BeyondPoly, a high-tech enterprise incubated from the “Honeycomb” strategy of Chambroad, has successfully overcome major technological challenges in POE polymerization processes, α-olefin, and catalysts. This breakthrough has led to the launch of China's first industrial POE production facility. BeyondPoly's BetoppTM series tailors to various downstream applications, including photovoltaic films, automotive modifications, shoe sole foaming, as well as wires and cables.
